Eddie Izzard: Glorious

Details With: Eddie Izzard

It's not just Izzard's gorgeous eyeliner and high heels that set this brilliant and bizarre British comedian apart in this overproduced-but-who-cares tape of a stand-up show he performed in front of an audience of thousands back in 1997. It's the gorgeous, cartwheeling Izzard mind, spinning from the mysteries of creation to the mysteries of lawn mowers — and the way the star stalks the stage, expressive and lithe, enacting the voice of creation and even, by God, the voice of the lawn as it's mowed.
