A few weeks before Survivor's finale, we asked Jeff Probst which outbacker was most likely to strike Hollywood gold. His answer: ''Colby. When that guy showed up, I took one look at those white teeth, that grin, and I said to myself, 'This guy isn't just here to play the game of Survivor -- he's here to do much, much more.' '' We were thinking the same thing, Jeff -- that is until the hunky 27-year-old Texan handed the game to Tina. While the watercooler debate rages on about why (she reminds him of his mom?!), we asked the experts to cast their votes.

-- Roger Lodge, host of Blind Date: ''Time will prove that Colby is a hero. Definitely the type of guy you would want to date and bring home to meet your mom.''

-- Lou Pearlman, mastermind of 'N Sync and O-Town: ''His charm, charisma, his fearlessness -- that's what he's about. He didn't have to put himself up against Tina, and he did anyway. I don't think he got played. He knew the risks going into it, and he did what his heart told him to do.''

-- Morgan Gendel, exec producer, V.I.P.: ''A big, hunky mama's boy like that -- he'd have to [play] a good guy who gets in over his head because he's just so innocent. I can see him being swindled by some city slickers.''

-- Dr. Joyce Brothers: ''I wish I could say he's a hero, but my gut feeling is that he knew whatever happened he'd still be in demand as a model and in commercials. And his distaste for Keith would not let him share the limelight with him.''
