So late-20th century. This startlingly amateurish teen-horror flick follows an aspiring film editor (Dawson's Creek's Kerr Smith, pouting wanly) and a vampire hunter (Roswell's Brendan Fehr) who face down a gang of bloodsuckers while driving across the Southwest. While the film is rarely scary, it's often gory, but the impact of the violence is blunted by the underlit-even-for-vampires visuals and Weed Eater editing. D-
