WISHMASTER Tammy Lauren, Andrew Divoff, Robert Englund (1997, LIVE, R, $105.98) Important safety tip: If a goblin with jaundiced skin and a pair of dreadlocks like drain snakes emerges from a glowing gem and asks, with a digitally processed voice, if you have a wish that needs granting, back out of the crappy horror movie you're in and run like a bandit. Wishmaster, directed by makeup F/X guru Robert Kurtzman, is nothing but a shabby excuse for gore galore and gratuitous nudity. Oh, wait, there wasn't any nudity.... Jeez, if you're gonna make a movie this horrible, there should at least be a little skin. D+
