Loaded Deck (1998)

Details Lead Performance: Ace Frehley; Genre: Rock

This hodgepodge from the galactic Kiss guitar whiz mingles previously released studio tracks and newly available live renditions, most of which qualify as tedious, misogynistic slop. "One Plus One," the first of two old outtakes, is the catchiest thing in Loaded Deck. Runners-up include solid versions of the Move's '60s stomp "Do Ya," Frehley's '70s Diddley-disco shuffle "New York Groove," and an orchestral ax finale. B-
