Spice World's jacket brags: "Totally exclusive photos" (mostly of the Spices lolling about). "Packed with...inside info" (like, after a day of shooting their new flick, the ol' Girls were pretty tuckered out). "The ONLY official book about Spice World: The Movie": Now you're talking. This tired tie-in appears to have escaped the copyediting process; what it really packs are such spacey claims as "Spice World is the only place to get to know the real Spice Girls." Like the Prefab Five's previous literary effort (Girl Power!), it has all the zest of rejected album-cover art (which it very well may be). Stick to pop songs, ladies! D-
