The demented brainchild of some former college buddies, TeeVee posts semiweekly potshots at the most inane aspects of the idiot box. One recent article took the news that an animated tribute to Martin Luther King Jr. is in the works — really — and cooked up additional pitchworthy ideas, like Harriet Tubman's Underground Playhouse. The week before that, they dug up and reburied the beloved psychedelic-'70s kid shows of Sid and Marty Krofft ("H.R. Pufnstuf? Why not just call the character U. Will Smokesumgras?"). Plenty of sites crack wise on TV's vast wasteland, but the minds behind TeeVee have wit, writing chops, and, best of all, a deep-dish love for the trash they skewer. A-
