Oscar nominees go one for two in this soulless sitcom clone, A Smile Like Yours. We're supposed to care (and laugh) about the baby-making troubles of an infertile couple whose cutesy, cardboard lives argue persuasively for population control. As the ditsy wife, Holly displays the comedic instincts of a lawn Bambi, while hubby Kinnear, up for Best Supporting Actor in As Good as It Gets, phones in Talk Soup panache. Fast-forward to In & Out Oscar candidate Cusack, giving comic spark to a lifeless role as the wife's coworker/friend, and Jill Hennessy, formerly of Law & Order, gallivanting in nonlegal briefs. D
