Momus was the Greek god of mockery and laughter. Under this moniker, Brit Nick Currie plays the demented clown crafting singsongy pop tunes that are daft comedic riffs on all things sacred. Ping Pong features ribald ditties about baby hating and Jesus as a space alien. No wonder Momus was banished from Mount Olympus. B+
