The ordeal continues. When Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman returned from England earlier this year after a grueling 15-month shoot on director Stanley Kubrick's neverending story, everyone assumed the worst was over. But last week Warner Bros. announced that because Jennifer Jason Leigh was unable to do a reshoot (due to scheduling conflicts), her cameo appearance was being cut from the movie. Obsessive director Kubrick plans to refilm her role with actress Marie Richardson. That means that Cruise will have to return to do scenes with Richardson for two weeks (ha!) in May. Says one Warner source about the situation: ''Nobody around here is happy about it, but what can you do? It's just Stanley.'' A weary Hollywood returns to its vigil...
