Maybe I'm way off, but if you were perfecting a top secret security code, would you test it in a puzzle-magazine brainteaser that millions of people will see? Alas, the government goons in Mercury Rising including Alec Baldwin as an NSA heavy don't think twice until a 9-year-old autistic savant (Miko Hughes) breaks the code. Ever creative, they decide to kill kid and family and only Bruce Willis' stalwart G-man stands in their way. Suspending all disbelief will help you enjoy this movie. Losing your grasp on reality wouldn't hurt either. D+
