Seven years ago Julian Lennon -- John's only child by first wife Cynthia -- decided he'd had enough. He had a hit with ''Too Late for Goodbyes'' and put out four albums, but he'd also reportedly battled drug and alcohol problems and endured snickers about his somewhat transparent attempts to cash in on his pop's popularity. This year, Lennon, 35, emerged from retirement, releasing a new album, Photograph Smile, on May 18. He's also formed his own record label, Music From Another Room, and performed in Europe and Asia -- and though Lennon hopes to put out the Beatlesque Smile in America, a date has yet to be set. For now, at least, you'll just have to imagine it.
