Singer-songwriter Liam Hayes (a.k.a. Plush) thinks small: At only 29 minutes, his debut, More You Becomes You, consists of modest melodies performed unadorned on a piano. The sound is early-'70s pop, but Hayes' skeletal songs sound unfinished, like some long-lost Harry Nilsson demos, and while You's minor pleasures are plentiful, its songs rarely offer more than mere prettiness.
