There's something bizarrely solipsistic about tribute albums: ''We really loved [late, great artist]. Now listen to us sing his/her songs!'' Still, Tammy Wynette...Remembered's star-studded tribute is a kick. Melissa Etheridge takes her turn on ''Apartment #9,'' K.T. Oslin rips into ''Your Good Girl's Gonna Go Bad,'' and Rosanne Cash does the honors on ''D-I-V-O-R-C-E.'' It's almost worth a seance to find out what Tammy — a good ol' gal who would've preferred to chop her own wood and trap her own fur — thinks of Elton John's rollicking cover of ''Stand by Your Man.'' B+
