The hook here is Alanis Morissette's list of what has galvanized her (''thank you india/thank you terror/thank you disillusionment''), bound to a lightly propulsive, snake-charmer rhythm. Call ''Thank U'' chant pop. Joining the latest India love-fest, Morissette at least seems to be reaching beyond spirituality as fashion. And kudos to any mega-platinum star who manages to rhyme ''antibiotics'' and ''transparent dangling carrots.'' Isn't it exotic? B
