I Got the Hook-Up

If T&A humor, nasty jabs, and gratuitous profanity are your idea of fun, then you'll groove on rapper Master P as a rip-off artist who, with hyper sidekick Blue (A.J. Johnson), scams hookups for the hood courtesy of his call-girl-by-night/jr.-phone-exec-by-day gal pal. Despite crisp direction and lively performances, the phoney comedy I Got the Hook-Up rings hollow. C-
