Burt Bacharach's banner year included the TNT homage from which this disc was culled, One Special Night. For every thrill — Chrissie Hynde's sexy ''Baby It's You,'' Wynonna's bluesy ''Anyone Who Had a Heart'' — there are game but tepid attempts by All Saints, Ben Folds Five, and Barenaked Ladies. And while Mike Myers' ''What's New Pussycat?'' was a hoot to watch, listening is another matter. What a relief when Dionne Warwick and Luther Vandross show how it's done. B-
