A kind of literary Melrose Place, Showtime's further adaptation of Armistead Maupin's novel, More Tales of the City asks to be devoured in one six-hour binge. Highlights of the ensemble include Laura Linney as an Ohio-bred ingenue losing herself in late-'70s San Francisco, Olympia Dukakis as the Earth Mother den mother of her apartment building, and the singular Parker Posey as a bubbly Scientologist.
