The doctor and the swashbuckler were joined on the sales chart by a hapless crooner: A discounted edition of Adam Sandler's The Wedding Singer entered at No. 3, rocketing past two older flicks by the year's top dunce -- namely, Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore -- that keep lingering around the mid-reaches of the top 40.
