JAN KRIST Curious (Silent Planet) After two mostly acoustic albums, Detroit folkie Jan Krist positively blossoms on her third by plugging in and earnestly rocking. Sounding like a cross between Kate Bush and Court and Spark-era Joni Mitchell, Krist blends religious lyrics with breathtaking vocal leaps, resulting in Curious, an album that makes soul-searching more enjoyable than it has any right to be.
