The tropical pop concoctions on Albita's second disc, Dicen Que... sizzle like seriously spicy stuff. But there's something slightly campy about the whole affair that has nothing to do with the singer's spiky bottle-blond coif. While her dusky alto resonates with the fierce power of Celia Cruz, she barks the Spanish lyrics of up-tempo numbers like ''El Chico Chevere'' and ''Hoy No Voy a Trabajar'' as if she were issuing orders to a roomful of power steppers.
