FLED Laurence Fishburne, Stephen Baldwin (1996, MGM/UA, R, priced for rental) Do road-gang escapees always address one another as ''convict'' and make references to old movies? They do according to Fled, a Defiant Ones retread dumbed down for '90s audiences with coarse language and juvenile situations. Fishburne looks embarrassed as the falsely imprisoned cop shackled to obnoxious hacker Baldwin, whose electronic pilfering of a Mob-run corporation inadvertently secured info wanted by Uncle Sam -- making the fugitives targets of feds and felons alike. Director Kevin Hooks (Passenger 57) tries camouflaging the script's tired plot contrivances and inane dialogue (to Fishburne's craving for bubble baths, Baldwin replies, ''I hope you choke and drown on the bubbles'') with elaborately staged action and gratuitous violence that's a lot less jolting on a small screen.
