As a producer, Steve Fisk
is a grunge legend, having twiddled knobs for heavyweights like
Nirvana. As Pigeonhed, though, Fisk and coconspirator Shawn
Smith don't fly the flannel. Instead, the duo serve up a stoned
soul picnic, trip-hopping from ''It's Like the Man Said'' to the
title track's stirring falsetto pyrotechnics. The Full Sentence is a
true anomaly — a Seattle funk masterpiece.
