Recorded in his 1965 Rambler, Ben Vaughn's lo-fi solo project could have been all no-fi hype, but there's enough fuel-injected talent to make it worth the ride. On his eighth outing, the underground sensation-turned-Hollywood composer (3rd Rock From the Sun) travels from the Tex-Mex ''7 Days Without Love'' to the butt-bouncing ''Heavy Machinery'' without ever taking a wrong turn on Rambler 65.
