David Schwimmer has Jeff Pelzman's number. ''He's everything that one should dislike about Hollywood,'' the Friends star says of the amoral screenwriter he plays in d girl, Roger Kumble's scathing comedy about Tinseltown running through April 20 at L.A.'s Century City Playhouse. Chronicling a day in the life of Julie Rosen (Jennifer Crystal, Billy's daughter), a young development director -- or ''d girl'' -- the biz-centric show has achieved It Girl status. Schwimmer, though, doesn't mind playing to studio execs: ''It's freeing to play the guy I can't stand in real life.''
