A lot of clever, spit-in-your-eye noise from three chicks, two guitars, and a drum kit. The guitar squall of Corin Tucker and Carrie Brownstein of Sleater-Kinney proves they can play with the boys, but it's their interlocking vocals sometimes mesmerizing, sometimes dizzying that propel the album Dig Me Out's best songs (''One More Hour''). Only overly clear production mars an otherwise fine example of state-of-the-art punk. B+
