Recorded in Denmark seven years ago, this live album captures the now-defunct band, Galaxie 500, competently performing some of their stronger late-period material. Unfortunately, that's not enough to justify the release of this solid but unenlightening recording, Copenhagen. At times these live versions approach — but never quite achieve — the floaty, otherworldly quality of their album counterparts. But why not just listen to the superior studio versions? B-
