A cross section of Canadians braces for the end of the world, with mixed dramatic results. Most heartbreaking: a desperate woman (Oh) trying to make it home for one last romantic dinner with her husband. Most tedious: a brooding young widower (director-star McKellar) who wants to die alone. Most annoying: the widower's friend (Callum Keith Rennie), who's using his last hours to bed as many different women as he can. C+
