Produced by radical saxophonist John Zorn and featuring some of avant-jazz's biggest names, Great Jewish Music: Burt Bacharach veers from the relatively traditional (Sean Lennon and Cibo Matto's Yuka Honda singing ''The Look of Love'') to the bizarre (''Alfie,'' played entirely on a drum set). Challenging and full of surprises. A-
