Daylight

Poor Sly. Even when he tries to break out of his Uberhero rut, he gets stuck in something just as dumb. In Daylight, Sylvester Stallone plays a former EMS chief who lost a few good men in a daring rescue — and who now seeks redemption by rushing to the aid of New York commuters trapped in a flooding underwater tunnel. Trouble is, our hero shows up without a plan, which leaves him sloshing around while an obnoxious supporting cast gripes, moans, and flies into hysterics. The water keeps rising, the walls close in...and the small screen only makes it feel more claustrophobic. D+
