Space Available is the second album by trombonist Bill Watrous' band since its 1978 founding — and the first to capture its driving vitality. Savor the intricate sax on ''Mama Lama Samba'' and the shouting brass on ''Village Dance'' followed by a remarkable multiphonics coda by Watrous. One problem: Fans may wish Watrous' shimmering horns were featured a bit more. B+
