The second album from these British upstarts finds Skunk Anansie trading their debut's polite Pat Benatar-ish rock for a bigger, more confrontational sound that flirts with metallic overkill even as it embraces folk and pop. Sure sign they've toughened up with Stoosh: the way singer Skin's nails-on-chalkboard vocal on ''Yes, It's F-----g Political'' gets under yours. B
