The premise sounds intriguing enough: Obsessive gore-hound Angela Jones joins a cleaning service that mops up crime scenes and uncovers evidence pointing to the identity of a notorious serial killer (William Baldwin). Pity about the product, though. Jones' morbid Kewpie-doll shtick, much admired by exec producer Quentin Tarantino (who saw her in a shorter version of Curdled, circa 1992), worked beautifully for five minutes in Pulp Fiction's surreal post-fight cab sequence (''Vhat does it feel like...to keel a man?''), but at feature length her goggle-eyed preoccupation with all things homicidal gets tiresome fast. And Baldwin's psycho killer is about as terrifying as a flapjack. D+
