''Fly'' (1997)

EW's GRADE
B

Details Lead Performance: Sugar Ray; Genres: Pop, Reggae/Ska

Another Southern Cali mosh band with a bad attitude hoists a hoarse dancehall-ska toast to weed-and-sun-toasted sorority girls with ''Fly.'' Cute boy-band Sugar Ray sound like Sublime, only slicker. But between their island breeze guitars and lyrics about being 25 and missing Mom, they manage to inject a little warmth into their half-baked pickup routine. B
