Screwball Pitches

Sitcoms were glad didn't make it on the air, from ghost nuns to Dracula

There is such a thing as too much creativity. Below, some of the more outrageous — or downright scary — sitcom scenarios that have been pitched to Warner Bros. Television president Tony Jonas:

1. Martina Navratilova as the owner of a bed-and-breakfast with a tennis camp next door (suggested title: It's Inn!).

2. Dracula as an actor on a sitcom (call it: Nosferatu Close for Comfort).

3. The Love Boat on the moon (how 'bout: A Crater Love).

4. Ghost nuns ('nuff said).

5. A pitch from a murderer looking to have a movie made about his life. ''It can make you a little nervous,'' says Jonas.
