On his fifth outing, Every Night's a Saturday Night, country-bluesman Lee Roy Parnell delivers the most relaxed, varied, and accomplished album of his career. Whether stretching out for the Western-swing instrumental ''Mama, Screw Your Wig on Tight'' or reaching deep inside for the poignant ballad ''Better Word for Love'' (with Trisha Yearwood), Parnell's looking more like an artist than a star. B+
