On its third studio album, this British sextet sticks to its winning formula: Stuart Staples' martini-smooth singing over drowsy, string-drenched mood music. Curtains may not expand on the band's narrow vision the only real surprise is a duet with Isabella Rossellini (Tindersticks have apparently seen Blue Velvet too) but the band continues to refine its hazy, late-night sound.
