Of this year's new Broadway musicals, Titanic's Tony-winning score isn't the most fun (Steel Pier and The Life pack more pizzazz). But at its best, Maury Yeston's music has a stirring grandeur laced with poignancy befitting its subject. Titanic may have an overreaching quality at times, but so did the mammoth, doomed ''ship of dreams'' that inspired it. B
