In a blatant attempt to capitalize on Lance Henriksen's TV series, the box art of Profile for Murder suggests a Millennium collection, but this throwback of an erotic thriller is more a ragged Jagged Edge. Severance is the sexually repressed police psychologist whose chief suspect in a string of murders is Henriksen, your typical time-ravaged playboy who effortlessly clicks with the chicks. Henriksen deserves his reputation as one of the best leading men in the direct-to-vid biz, but he must have done this one for the sake of his retirement fund. D
