DESIGNER MUSIC: Having already revived '70s disco stylings for the runway, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana are now doing the same for the music charts. The Milan-based duo do backup vocals on Dana Dawson's remake of Andrea True Connection's 1976 ''More-More-More,'' out from Popular Records this fall. The CD single is their second shot at the airwaves: ''D&G Music,'' a cover of the 1977 Montreal Sound hit ''Music,'' peaked at No. 13 on Billboard's dance chart. With a zebra-striped cover designed by the kings of animal print, the CD may be the year's most stylish release — if not the most tuneful. On it, the designers ''are saying 'D&G is More-More-More,''' says a D&G spokeswoman. ''They are definitely talking more than singing.''

CAMP EQUIPMENT: When Giorgio Armani invited the Fugees to perform at a party to celebrate the opening of his New York store last fall, he didn't realize he was inspiring some competition. But now Pras (right), of the Grammy-winning hip-hop group, is launching a line of urban sportswear called Refugee Camp. Bearing a logo of four stars (''It means the highest point,'' says Pras), the collection includes military-style cargo pants, sweats, velour shirts — plus Refugee Camp dog tags. Pras even got the blessing of Armani himself: ''He said, 'Go with your heart. Always give the quality.' I respect that.''
