Details Lead Performance: The Kelley Deal 6000

At its best, ex-Breeder Kelley Deal's new band The Kelley Deal 6000 sounds like, well, the Breeders. But too often this sprawling, uneven album can't figure out what it wants to be, juggling genres from punk to Heart-style '70s rock to wispy etherea. Even at a skimpy 41 minutes Boom! Boom! Boom! drags on way too long. B-
