Chicago foursome Fig Dish boast a Midwestern indie-rock pedigree that guarantees even the irony in When Shove Goes Back to Push will be earnest. It also ensures traditionally melodic pop that makes more than the occasional nod to the harder stuff, although ''Come On (Don't Come On),'' this second LP's probable breakout, is nothing but fast loose fun.
