Details Lead Performance: Superchunk

Not ones to stylistically shape-shift, Superchunk do lean a bit more on keyboards and harmonies on their eighth album, Indoor Living. And though long past being indie firebrands, the Chapel Hill, N.C., foursome are still potently, if predictably, scrappy. One question: How could they overlook the sublime ''Unbelievable Things'' in choosing the single? B+
