PTERODACTYL WOMAN FROM BEVERLY HILLS Beverly D'Angelo, Brion James (1996, Troma Team Video, R, $59.98) I know what you're thinking: ''How can I possibly resist a movie about a wealthy housewife who turns into a pterosaur?'' And sure, it's a gas to see the usually restrained D'Angelo (no relation to yours truly) running around twitching her head and flapping her elbows like a crazed ostrich. And as it's set hard by Hollywood, the film is at least aware of its own TV-ready cheesiness (''Salvador calls this place the Land of Cheap Special Effects''). But silly isn't necessarily funny, and after an hour and a half of Bev's squawking and stooping, you may find yourself wishing this species of movie were extinct. C-
