Canadian singer-songwriter-multi-instrumentalist Lynne Kellman's self-produced and mostly self-played debut is alternately lilting and thrashy, but consistently appealing. Confessional techno-folk tunes like ''Growing Gold'' and ''Sometimes'' boast an organically playful ambiance that nicely balances their wispy earnestness, giving the lie to Kellman's modest nom de disc.
