Oh, boy: another violent but hip crime drama about a heist gone wrong, featuring a trigger-happy psycho (played by director Sutherland in his feature debut), an undercover cop in jeopardy, gratuitous pop-culture references, and badass dudes firing automatics from both hands. In what is far and away the most painful Tarantino ''homage'' to date, Mafia honcho Martin Sheen chops off Max Perlich's fingers while, for no apparent reason, Lesley Gore's ''It's My Party'' blares in the background. Believe me, you'll want to cry. D
