There's something inherently depressing about an aging clown involved in adolescent antics, which is exactly what a graying Grandpa Fonz Henry Winkler attempts here playing Jack, a nebbishy computer salesman who spends a week alone, sans wife and kids, recuperating from heart stress when a daffy, sexy young manicurist (Kicking and Screaming's d'Abo) invades and nearly ruins his life. Sadly, Winkler is too long in the tooth for National Lampoon's Dad's Week Off to have the bite it needs. C-
