All the style, content, and relevance of plastic vomit. A regurgitation of cliches posing as a story, Joyride involves two wimpy best buds (The Ice Storm's Tobey Maguire and My So-Called Life's Wilson Cruz) and a kittenish hooker (The Client's Amy Hathaway) whose lives intersect at a fleabag motel in the middle of nowhere. After swiping a motel guest's groovy-looking Cutlass, they discover that its owner — a killer for hire — has stashed her latest stiff in the trunk. The promising cast can't rise above this lowest-end-of-the-food-chain road flick. F
