With a heartfelt approach — and a luscious vibrato thick enough for Santa to land on — the tenor saxophonist Scott Hamilton cuts through the strings that sweeten these holiday faves, with firm theme readings and sagacious improvising. Christmas Love Song is thoughtful jazz with a pretty bow tied around it. B+
