Windham Hill's third, mostly instrumental sampler Celtic Christmas III is richly melodious. From David Agnew and David Downes' oboe/uilleann pipes duet ''The Wexford Carol'' to Lisa Lynne's Celtic harp dance ''Circle of Joy,'' this collection conjures the haunting spirit of Xmas without once making you think of leprechauns. B
